Hello, I have what is an odd problem. I had Calibre installed on an external drive (with library itself on another drive) and the calibre drive stopped spinning. I went to download what apparently needed to be the same version and reinstall it and the install fails every time, telling me it doesn't, obviously, see the drive it was originally installed on as it's dead. I then went to add/remove programs (win 7 if it matters) and tried to do the repair from there. Same thing. I then tried to uninstall which i was hoping not to have to do as I was hoping my settings were maybe saved in the C drive to minimize what I had to redo/setup but the uninstall itself also fails due to the missing original drive/installation. From what i can tell here, I won't be able to install Calibre and use it now at all? Does anyone know a way around this? Thanks in advance.
