I added an Italian edition with the same title of the english one.
Then I asked Calibre to fetch for metadata to download and... I got english version only.
I had to file the correct isbn before clickin on the download button to fix the problem.
Ok I see the issue Calibre has to face, but... googoling the isdn is a weste of time. Couldn't be helpful to use the language field in the query too (of course if the metadata engine allows it, dunno)?
An example is Perdido Street Station, isdn:8834718208
