Calibre news problem

For about 6 months I have been successfully downloading and reading the
Anchorage Times and several magazines. Recently when I view the newspaper (and the magazines) I get mostly headlines with no details, or one or two articles and the rest just headlines.
This occurs on my desktop before I transfer to my Kindle Fire. What have I done wrong?:help:
